Eco-Babes

We have selected to work with Eco-babes because we feel that as a company they are offer parents choosing to purchase washable nappies the best all round service.

The choice of washable nappies is enormous and even just researching the options left us feeling overwhelmed. The ethos behind Eco-babes is not simply to sell nappies but to help parents find the nappy that best suits them and their children.

Eco-babes stock all the major brands of eco-nappies which itself will save you the time and expense of contacting individual nappy companies.

They also offer a unique Nappy Trial Service that is very popular with parents plus the ability to buy through local agents. Both services are designed to help you decide which nappy will be best for you!

We have been specifically recommended the Fuzzibunz Nappy. Here's what one mum has to say about them:

"I have discovered wonderful Fuzzibunz nappies and must share this discovery.

Having struggled for a while with a prefold system with my first son (now 3) I reverted to disposables but continued to feel guilty. The experience of numerous leaks coupled with the coordination required to hold a wrap, prefold and liner together whilst trying to attach it to an escaping child, proved just too much.

Following the birth of son number two (now 6 months), a friend recommended Fuzzibunz Nappies and although they are a little more expensive than some other systems, they are so easy to use and, I am told, have a good resale value if I look after them.

The Fuzzibunz is a shaped pocket of breathable waterproof outer and microfleece inner into which you stuff the absorbancy (small terry, prefold, microfibre pad or old tea towel if you like !). Once stuffed they are in effect an all-in-one and can be changed as quickly as it takes to snap the poppers. They are particularly good if, like me, you are returning to work and leaving your child in nursery where, with so many different changers, the nappy needs to be as uncomplicated as possible."
