Breast Nurse

TEN winners will get the chance to win a Breast Nurse (treatment gel pack) from Oscar + Dehn.

What is Breast Nurse?

Breast Nurse is a thermal treatment, using two gel-filled pads, which can be warmed or cooled, and then slipped into the bra for fast relief. Aids milk flow and soothes discomfort fast.

Why does breastfeeding cause discomfort?

Pain is associated with primary engorgement, blocked ducts, mastitis and weaning. An increase in blood supply, fluid in the breast tissues, prevention of milk flowing through, leaking milk into breast tissue and full breasts can all create soreness.

Breast Nurse

How does Breast Nurse help?

Breast Nurse soothes discomfort with sustained warm or cool temperatures. Applying a warm treatment helps dilate blocked ducts, allowing milk to flow more freely. A cool application reduces inflammation, soothing soreness from engorgement, mastitis and weaning.

Why use Breast Nurse?

Until now, there has been no convenient, quick or discreet way to relieve discomfort. Research tells us that nursing mothers have been using hot and cold flannels, showers, frozen peas or cabbage leaves – effective, but messy. Breast Nurse brings together all the benefits of these remedies in a no-fuss treatment which is discreet and fast, so mums can get on with life.

How are the packs prepared for use?

For instant cool relief, Breast Nurse is stored in the fridge in the hygienic outer carton, or popped in the freezer for a maximum of 5 minutes. Oscar+Dehn To warm, immerse in a bowl of boiling water for 5-10 minutes.

Breast Nurse is available in Boots, Mothercare and John Lewis. To find out more about Oscar + Dehn, including care and comfort products for kids – visit www.oscardehn.com
