"I took 2 weeks holiday when my little girl was born and it was great! I felt so close to my wife and new baby that when it came time to go back to work it was really difficult. Luckily I work close to home and now I go home every lunchtime to see them both. I helps break up the day for me and my wife.

Now I just worry about my wife, who had a job involving lots of mental activity and now she's getting bored being at home. For those that think that going back to work is great as it gets you away from the nappy/feeding routine, spare a thought for your wife!!"

"I felt crap going to work when Paul was very little. My wife was exhausted and I knew the day ahead for her was going to be pretty dull, but I also knew I had to earn. I felt that everything seemed a priority and found it hard to know what was most important. The fact was everything was important!"

"To be honest it was a relief going back to work. The nappy, feeding routine was driving me nuts."

"I didn't want to become one of those boring fathers who is always going on about how great their kid is, but I really did want to talk about her and have a picture of her on my desk. I also ring home everyday, usually, just to make sure everyone's alright…quite a shock to my wife, I'm sure!"

Advice on what buggy to buy?
At last got my stroller, for hols. Going
I went for the Zen all weather stroller. It's nice and lightweight, and looks really comfy for DS. It comes with raincover, hood, parasol and cosy footmuff, all in with the price! all the others I looked at you had to buy most things separate, which added up. Also got it half price in the sale, it should have been £140! Grin
