"Being a Green Parent", what is that all about? Well, when you become a new parent a lot of things change in your household, and the biggest change will be that you have an additional person who will produce a lot of waste, whether that be in the form of nappies, washing more often, or boxes from toys and of course food.

As so many of you have contributed to this section as well, you are obviously very aware of the impact that the family has on the environment and we hope that this section will help and support you in knowing what is best to be green, and ways to make it part of your lifestyle and not a burden.

Your children will be educated about green issues and recycling in school, and we are often left behind with the many subjects these days, so don't being a "green parent" be one of them.
