I'm 26 weeks and are having terrible heartburn

Miss Appleton of SLOUGH

I am 19wks pregnant with my 1st baby and do not think I have felt my baby move. is this normal?

Samantha

I've been told by the midwife that I am 15 weeks pregnant (first baby),the scan said to be perfect and the heartbeat is so strong we thought it was twins, but I am little worried because until now I can't feel my baby moving, no kicking and I am wondering if this normal.

I read the other lady saying that hers happended later(24 wks) should I be worried or just be patient because I can't wait feel that sensation.

Ida

I am now 21 wks pregnant (1st baby) and I have the pleasure of movement at night all night..lol I was so amazed at how I felt as it was like some one flicking me although now it tends to be a little stronger.. I work rotation shifts and just as I start to settle my baby starts to move. I do have the occasional sick day and I do agree about having to wait for ante natal appointments and constantly worrying.. I was in a car accident a few days before I found out I was pregnant so now I tend to worry so much more but these little kick and bouts of sickness reasssure me so much...

I am 25 weeks pregnant and an active person that finds it hard to relax till about 7pm at night as I get up at 6.30am and go to work. The thing is I haven't felt my baby kicking very much, he does the odd kick here and now and does not move much. It is a worrying time for people carrying as you expect the baby to be moving. This is my first and I dont know what to expect but the midwife does not give you any reassurance.

Kim

I found the middle months the hardest, what with early pregnancy symptoms subsiding I found the fact that I was well unsettling. I found that my symptoms became a comfort as if I was sick I must still be pregnant. Waiting for appointments to hear the heart beat and not having another can until week 21 you found that I was seeking anything to reassure me that all is well (I had a missed Miscarriage first time around).

Toni

I found my second trimester to be very difficult as I was still experiencing a lot of sickness and nausea, and I was told at my 15 week check that I would not get another midwife appointment until 25 weeks. I found those 10 weeks really hard, and relied on my husband a lot for support.

I found the waiting for him to move so I could feel it very stressful. He did this very late (he was a very small underdeveloped baby) and reading that he should move at about 20 weeks (not 24) did not help. What did help was knowing that I had seen a scan and he moved then. Also hearing his heartbeat at my antenatal appointments.

Stage 2 is a very important time because this is the prime time for growth and the foetus is developing the most. I feel that having regular scans and keeping regular contact with the Drs Surgery helped to reassure me that my baby was progressing properly and make sure I was always feeling up to coping with things.

I found the middle months very difficult as you just seem to be left to get on with it! After the intensive medical attention through the antenatal screening process and your scan at 20ish weeks it was very disconcerting to then have no contact with my midwife for 6 weeks! I suppose I knew were she was if needed her but it still would have been nice to have the odd appointment just for reassurance that everything was still OK!

Nanny
I am looking for a full or part time sole charge nanny position in or around Marlow.

I am qualified in CACHE Level 2 Diploma in Child Care and Education as well as my CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Child Care and Education.

I am still currently working as a nanny share throughout my week. And will be looking for a position ideally on a weds and thurs for part time from mid September/October. I have fantastic checkable references and have been recommended to my employers.

I have been CRB checked, and I thoughroughly enjoy my work with children, I am a fun loving and trustworthy and can be flexible to suit you.

I have a lot of experience, working with twins espeshially as well as newborn experience and SEN (special needs)

I've been working since July 2010 as a nanny working sole charge and as a mothers help position and have worked with 14 children overall, aged from newborn to 9 years.
