Talking Point

I CAN, the charity that helps children communicate, will be launching Parent Point in March 2006.

This project, will see comprehensive information resources made available to families on www.talkingpoint.org.uk This website was launched in 2003 to give parents and practitioners access to a single source of comprehensive information resources about children's communication development and disability. It is the first stop online for vital, quick, accessible information for these audiences, receiving positive feedback and a user base currently of over 20,000 visits a month.

The Parenting Fund (DfES) has kindly provided the grant to develop this much needed resource for families who have an interest in, or concern about their child's communication development and I CAN is working with a group of advisory partners to help develop the content.
