Please teach these simple instructions to your children, so they will know what to do if they become lost:

As soon as you realise you are lost -

• STOP - stand still and LOOK arond, but DO NOT run around
• If you can see the person you are shopping with, go straight back to them and hold their hand
• if you cannot see the person you are with, go straight to a checkout or person in uniform working there and tell them that you are lost
• you can also go a point where your parents have told you to go if you get lost
• if you get lost in a big environment, like a shopping centre, theme park or street, go to the nearest shop and tell a person in uniform, or someone who is at a checkout
• DO NOT go up to anyone else
