
IVF Egg Trade
The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) yesterday granted permission for researchers in Durham and Newcastle to offer IVF treatment at half price in exchange for half of their eggs. Women desperate for a baby, but with limited funds are being offered cut-price fertility treatment in exchange for donating some of their eggs for controversial stem cell research. This controversial subject continues as researchers have limited eggs to do research for illnesses such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's.
