February
Have your daffodils poked their heads out yet? Mine are just showing but I won't be seeing them blowing about in the spring sunshine this year, as I am moving house. I have had a fun time with the children being poorly this week, a week before moving home. I am moving in half term week, and decided that it would be better to go for a full packing service. What a good decision, they came and spent a whole day packing up my house and all I had to do was make tea and tell them where everything would go. I am actually feeling very relaxed considering it is meant to be one of the most stressful things you can do. The children seem to be very excited about moving and I hope that I have managed their expectations.
January is a difficult month, the weather has been freezing cold so all I have fancied doing is sitting at home watching the tv with the children. I introduced the Sound of Music to my children at Christmas and now seem to only be allowed to put this DVD on. Charlotte, gets her guitar out (toy one) and says "sing mummy, do ray me" Good job I know all the words. Perhaps I should not admit that, but I do love the film and so do my children. Even James likes the film as it has soldiers. I could be watching a lot worse I know, and at least it has nice family values. I hope you have had a lovely Valentine's Day and got a bouquet of fabulous flowers, chocolates
- forget about the diet for a day, and lot's of love and attention.
