I find myself whizzing through this year and today I am writing about last month and we are in July.

July is particularly busy month for me and many other mum's with school age children. The diary is packed full of dates of sports days, outings, performances and last days. Charlotte leaves pre-school in 3 weeks - aaaah I cannot believe that my baby girl will then start BIG school.

I attended her last sports day last week, and to her delight Daddy managed to get the day off too. She was lovely skipping about and it was so nice to see her enjoying herself. She will be having an End of Year Prom in July and I suspect there may be a tear or two.

It will be nice to have one drop off point, but it is another change for her and me. Their little lives started off so calmly being at home with mum, but we now seem to rush from school to after school clubs and friends houses for tea.

However, I find myself wondering about the summer holidays, will we have nice weather so that the children can make full use of the garden? or will I be trying to find affordable activities that don't take all my money!.

In case you missed it, I was also on the ITV1 on Looking Good Feeling Great with Fern Britton. I did the filming last year and it was shown w/c 26th June. I did not know it was going on air until that Monday so I am sorry that I did not get a chance to forewarn you.
