Whooping Cough

Whooping Cough

Despite vaccinations our children are still getting whooping cough, and it is not being diagnosed properly.

More than 60 per cent of the children who were still coughing at 100 days had a positive whooping cough test, compared with only 20 per cent who tested negative.

Babies are vaccinated at two, three and four months and children get a pre-school booster between the ages of three and five. The booster was introduced in 2001.
