October
I truly expected to be in my new autumn wardrobe by now but I find myself still wearning my summer linen. Our seasons are certainly changing, but it makes knowing what the weather will be doing very difficult. James is now watching the weather so that he can decide whether to wear shorts or trousers. I think he no longer trusts me as a couple of times he has gone in trousers and been hot! Charlotte loves her little school dresses, so I don't have problem there. We are now in our fourth week of school already, half term is only a little while off. I remember the days when I did not have school age children of loving the school holidays as the road where quieter. Now I realise that the school holidays come around far too quickly. I have noticed the nights getting shorter, and part of me likes this, as I enjoy snuggling around a fire and dare I say it looking forward to Christmas. First I need to get through Halloween this month, and I have plans to have a little party again with the children's friends. They love this, and I do too. I came across a very spooky picture of me over 13 years ago when I dressed up as Mortica from the Adam's family. I thought I would share the picture with you! I am with my brother-in-law Kevin! Hope you all have a good October, enjoy half-term and if you are pregnant and due soon, take care and look after yourselves. Very best wishes,
