September
It seems very strange that I am now writing to you at the end of August and have suddenly realised that my holiday is over, the school holidays are over and we start school next week. Charlotte will be joining her new school, and she looks absolutely adorable in her uniform. I am not looking forward to the first day. I don't know how others feel but you get a bag full of mixed emotions. You are excited for them, as well as being a little bit sad. Charlotte and I were chatting in the car the other day and I said why don't you stay mummy's little girl, I don't want you to grow up and get big, to which I got but mummy I want to be a big girl.
How do you cope with letting them go, from the moment they are born the time seems to speed up, I cannot believe how quickly they seem to have their own views and opinions and my son is already getting better at maths than me, and he is only 7. I am in party planning mode at the moment, James will be 7 this month, and my twin and I will be 40! I have planned a birthday bash with friends and family and just hope that we get a dry day as it is at home with a BBQ. James is having a soccer party with everything done for me, including the party bags. It is what he would like so who am I to argue. I look back with fond memories at 1st birthday's, and seeing your perfect little bundle reach the ripe old age of 1 and thoroughly enjoying eating the cake! Take care everyone and I look forward to catching up with you soon. Very best wishes,
