With the arrival of February comes red, red and more red!

We seem to just get over Christmas and the next card buying event arrives.

Valentine's Day is lovely and I am just starting to realise that my son is growing up as he too has become aware. I suspect that there will be few cards coming his way this year, he has a couple of "favourite" girls and I just hope that he isn't disappointed. Oh no, I am turning into a mother that might be tempted to send her son a card just in case.

Anyway, I am sure that Valentine's day will arrive and leave very quickly with many people either extremely happy or disappointed.

I cannot believe that half-term will also be arriving very soon and I look forward to entertaining the children in the cold weather! Last year I moved house in half-term, its a great way to entertain the children, but hard work for me. I cannot believe that a year has gone past in my new house, which is not so new now.

Well until next month enjoy Valentine's Day and don't forget Pancake Day too, I think I prefer the second one, at least I can guarantee getting a pancake!
