We all suffer from dry skin, oily skin or plain dull skin, but when you are pregnant it is one of the areas you become even more aware of. As hormones change in your body and your pregnancy grows you will see changes in your skin, all over your body. I found my hands became hyper sensitive to potatoes and I had to wear rubber gloves to peal them, it caused me such itching that I would lay awake at night wanting to rip my hands off. And then I noticed the stretch marks appearing. I regularly put cream on, but to no avail for me but I did get some stretch marks, which could have been worse if I have not kept my skin supple? I don't know but at least I tried to do the right thing to minimise the effects. I have put together some information on stretch marks for you and I hope you will find it useful and reassuring - you are not alone! |
