7 Day Parenting Coach
Parenting
I have read about a third of the book and found it not at all interesting or stimulating. When I initially read the synopsis of the book I was very pleased and excited to be given the opportunity to read and review the book. I work full-time and with a two-and-a half year old I seem to be constantly on the go - looking for ways to make life a little easier so I started the book with great expectations but was quite quickly disappointed. I don't claim to have a very organised life but I believe that your life would have to be chaos in order to get something out of the book. In the portion that I read I don't feel that I learnt anything new or inspiring.

Your Non Toxic Pregnancy
Parenting
This is a beautifully presented book, attractively illustrated throughout. For those who are interested this subject this is an excellent book containing a myriad of information and tips. Particularly useful are 'dialogue boxes, entittled ' psst' which contain snippets of information and tips - these are great for the reader who wishes to dip in and out of the book. The book addresses a wide variety of subjects from your body, to your home, food, environment, clothes, to dealing with pregnacy symptions naturally. It does not however cover aspects of the pregnancy itself in terms of feotal development etc. Not for everyone, but for those with an interest in non toxic living a great read.

The Art of Hiding Vegetables
Parenting
I must admit that when I first saw this book I though 'oh no, not another preachy nutritionist telling me how I should be feeding my children!' I was wrong, this book is informative, practical and entertaining and is directed at parents with better things to do than take the afternoon off work to spend 3 hours preparing their children's tea! I am ashamed to admit that the sneaky part appeals to my nature, but how else do you get children to eat their recommended daily portions of vegetables? I would definately recommend it to the parents of picky eaters - I got my strictly carnivorous 2 year old son to eat veg using some of the tips in this book - something I was dispairing of ever doing.
