Anita and Katie

Well what can I say about myself. I'm pretty shy, although my partner and my friends seem to think I can talk to anyone.

I love being a mum, I have a daughter, Katie who is 3 and my partner and I are trying for another baby. My partner is Paul and we have been together for 11 years in March. I would love to have three children, but I think Paul would be happy with two.

I come from a large family and have 4 brothers and two sisters, from that I have 8 nephews and 7 neices, 5 great nephews and 3 great neices and two more on the way. Paul is from a small family and has one sister with a niece and nephew.

Katie

Paul and I are looking to get married next year, but we haven't sorted out any dates as yet.

I don't have many hobbies, but I love being involved in lots of things and joining in with family and friends. I enjoy meeting new people all the time. I enjoy playing badminton and squash, my favourite football team is Liverpool and I enjoy watching them and collecting items on them. I enjoy reading books, mostly Stephen King, but I read anything that takes my fancy. I love music and if stranded on a desert island (other than my family) I would need my music to keep me going and again I enjoy all sorts of music and have a wide range of music.

I work 30 hours a week as a Supported Housing Officer, I work with the elderly and my colleague and I manage over 20 members of staff. I really enjoy my job, but would like a total career change to midwifery. I would like to take some time out and spend it with Katie. If we do get pregnant, I think I would pack in work for a while and would concentrate on the new baby and Katie.

I didn't want children a few years ago and whilst on the pill I was caught with Katie, we didn't find out until I was 6 months pregnant so it was a bit of a shock - but the best news I could ever have. I sailed through the pregnancy and Paul and I moved into our house on the Friday as Katie was born on the following Wednesday.

We have been trying for a baby since September so I hope to be caught soon and will update you with our progress..

Love Anita x
